Functional Appliances

Functional Appliances are "tissue-born" appliances
designed to stimulate growth in young patients.

Educating your patients on the benefits of Functional Jaw Orthopedics will encourage them to comply with removable appliances. Allowing the patient to develop their arches prior to fixed bracket therapy can reduce overall treatment time.

Treatment success is dependant upon
patient compliance.

All functional appliances are shipped from the laboratory
disinfected in a Protective Plastic Container
including an expansion screw activation key.

A Daily Report Booklet is provided for the patient
in which the doctor can document appliance activation instructions.  Refer to the colored arrows when outlining expansion screw activation instruction for the patient.

The patient's laboratory invoice provides
additional appliance information.
